Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach Truck, and Pallet Jack) to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory control by verifying stock, scanning items, and maintaining accurate records of stock levels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping with speed and accuracy.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections and basic maintenance checks on forklifts and other machinery.
- Overtime Availability: Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime shifts, to meet business demands.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift certification (for Counterbalance and Reach Trucks) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- License: Valid driver's license (for pallet jack operation and site transport).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory counting and order picking.
