Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to shipping docks.
- Verify inventory quantities and accuracy using scanning devices or manual counting methods.
- Inspect equipment for safety compliance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and traffic patterns.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to work weekends and be available for overtime as business needs dictate.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and material handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and paperwork.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
