Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (Reach Truck, Forklift, Pallet Jack) safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA standards and company policies.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure proper working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse flow and meet daily production targets.
- Handle freight with care, ensuring damage-free delivery to designated storage areas.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (valid license/certification required).
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse software.
- Valid driver's license (optional but preferred for shipping duties).
