Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated storage areas to optimize warehouse flow.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including OSHA guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Prepare pallets for shipment using stretch wrap and labeling systems.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (CFL or equivalent) with valid license.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and verification.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
