Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklifts and other equipment before and after each shift to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and logging stock as it moves in and out of the facility.
- Organize storage areas to ensure a safe, clutter-free work environment and easy access to inventory.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures at all times.
- Assist in the preparation of shipments and palletizing goods for transport.
Qualifications
- No prior forklift experience is necessary. We are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills to understand safety signs and inventory labels.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, climate-controlled warehouse environment.
- Must be available for part-time shifts and pass a standard background check and drug screening.
