Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down, stand-up, and order picker forklifts to move materials within the facility and loading docks efficiently.
- Load and unload freight trucks safely and securely using proper securing techniques.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Organize inventory and maintain accurate stock counts using warehouse management systems.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (CDL Class A/B is a plus but not required).
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
