Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct routine safety inspections of equipment and maintain a clean, organized workspace to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Accurately verify inventory counts and document stock movements using warehouse management systems.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders and shipping schedules.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding hazardous materials and heavy lifting safety protocols.
- Perform minor maintenance checks on machinery and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA 10 or equivalent) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Basic computer literacy for logging data and completing paperwork.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
