Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts, Pallet Jacks) to load, unload, and move materials in the warehouse.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all 5S safety standards.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate documentation of stock movements using warehouse management software.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Assist with warehouse organization, including palletizing and shrink-wrapping products.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) license or equivalent training is required.
- Previous experience operating forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach, or Order Picker) is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and comprehend safety labels and documents.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and inventory tracking.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
