Responsibilities
- Safe Material Handling: Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport goods throughout the warehouse facility.
- Inventory Accuracy: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure stock levels match the system database.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage customer orders efficiently to meet daily shipping targets.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Experience Level: No prior forklift experience necessary; training provided for qualified candidates.
- License: Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid Forklift Operator Certification.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperature conditions.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Communication: Strong ability to read and understand safety labels, operating manuals, and verbal instructions.
