Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, locate, and stack merchandise.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
- Inspect forklifts for any mechanical issues or safety hazards before operation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in strict compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Perform regular inventory counts and stock replenishment tasks.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and quality assurance procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding inventory needs and potential issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CFO) is required.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience operating heavy industrial equipment.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
