Role Overview
As a Picker Packer, you will be responsible for locating, retrieving, and preparing items for shipment. Attention to detail is key to ensuring every order is perfect.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve products from warehouse shelves based on picking tickets or digital orders.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials and labeling techniques.
- Inspect items for defects or damage before packing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety compliance.
- Operate handheld scanners and basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) as trained.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily productivity targets.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (4-8 hours) on concrete floors.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- Willingness to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
