Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery: Safely drive forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload trucks in a timely manner.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan and track incoming and outgoing stock using warehouse management systems.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.
- Material Handling: Stack, organize, and secure pallets to optimize warehouse storage and retrieval efficiency.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehousing, logistics, or related fields.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting inventory and handling sensitive materials.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
