Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock and verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Keep the work area organized, clean, and free of hazards to ensure a safe environment for all employees.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets efficiently.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (CDL or equivalent training is a plus).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and material handling procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and data entry.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
