Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace in strict compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Perform routine safety inspections of all equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accuracy in all shipping and receiving documentation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily production and shipping targets efficiently.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (or willingness to complete training upon hire).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
