Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse and to loading docks.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe, working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and logging stock movements using warehouse management software.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Stack and organize pallets efficiently to maximize storage space and workflow safety.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFOT) or willingness to obtain certification within 30 days.
- Proven experience operating forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach, or Pallet Jack).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
