Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery to move, stack, and organize inventory in the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure safety and compliance with OSHA standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S principles.
- Assist in inventory counting and stock rotation to ensure accuracy.
- Follow all safety protocols and report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and accident prevention.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
