Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily, reporting malfunctions or safety hazards promptly
- Verify inventory accuracy through systematic scanning and documentation processes
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to comply with OSHA and company standards
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize loading/unloading schedules and dock operations
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper PPE usage and equipment certification
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory verification and order processing
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
- Valid Ohio driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and overtime as needed
