Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks
- Strictly adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Manage inventory accuracy through systematic stock rotation and tracking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow
- Maintain clean and organized warehouse spaces
- Document all material movements and equipment usage
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification with 2+ years of operating experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to operate multiple forklift types (electric, propane, narrow aisle)
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Physical stamina for 8-hour shifts with frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
