Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect equipment daily for safety compliance and perform minor maintenance as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by staging and organizing stock efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company operational procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and optimal workflow.
- Complete daily logs and reports regarding equipment usage and inventory counts.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating Class 1 (Counterbalance), Class 2 (Reach), or Class 4 (Sit-down) forklifts.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and math skills for inventory tracking.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
