Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards at all times.
- Safety Compliance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan and document inventory movements to ensure stock accuracy.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist in picking and packing orders to meet customer deadlines.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and other warehouse staff to optimize workflow.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Background Check: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Physical Stamina: Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and operating machinery.
- Availability: Must be available for flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends if required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
