Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and tagging products as they move through the facility.
- Ensure the warehouse and work areas are clean, organized, and adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Follow proper lifting techniques and safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Basic computer skills for scanning and inventory systems.
