Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods.
- Maintain Safety: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Inventory Control: Perform accurate inventory counts, stock checks, and manage stock rotation to ensure product availability.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all items are properly labeled and packaged before shipping.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of obstructions to ensure smooth operations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of daily operations and any equipment maintenance issues.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work a consistent schedule.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
