Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift forklift inspections to ensure equipment safety and functionality.
- Accurately scan and log inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team leads to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist in the preparation of shipping and receiving orders efficiently.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (CLP/OSHA) is required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or material handling experience is highly preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and navigate uneven surfaces.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting and strong attention to detail.
- Availability: Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime when needed.
