Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklift equipment for defects and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated storage areas to maintain accurate records.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and shipments.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and safety checks on the forklift.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
