Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure it is in safe operating condition and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and logging data into the warehouse management system.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Organize and stack pallets in designated areas to maximize warehouse space and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating industrial forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven surfaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory handling.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and warehouse staff.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License (required for some delivery or yard work duties).
