Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by properly tagging and organizing stock.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Perform routine pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to streamline the shipping and receiving processes.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (OSHA compliant) required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts (e.g., Reach Truck, Counterbalance).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
