Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse.
- Verify inventory accuracy by scanning pallets and ensuring correct placement in designated zones.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Inspect machinery for safety issues and report maintenance needs immediately.
- Assist in the preparation of shipments for local and regional delivery.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize warehouse flow and reduce bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (CDL not required, but preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills and ability to read pick lists and barcodes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if required.
