Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning pallets and logging shipment data.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform routine safety checks on forklift equipment before and after shifts.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts (counterbalance, reach trucks, or cherry pickers).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math and computer literacy skills (for scanning equipment).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Portland facility.
