Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count and stock inventory, ensuring all stock levels meet company standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately to management.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and debris-free warehouse floor to prevent accidents.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork for shipments and inventory transfers accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Reach Truck, Counterbalance, or Powered Pallet Jack) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
