Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and organize palletized materials efficiently
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company warehouse procedures
- Inspect forklift equipment daily and report maintenance needs promptly
- Load/unload trucks and containers using proper rigging techniques
- Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in cycle counts
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow and productivity
- Ensure clean and organized work area throughout shift
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (current or ability to obtain immediately)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience in warehouse setting
- Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays (8-hour shifts: 6 AM - 2 PM or 2 PM - 10 PM)
- Physical stamina to stand, lift 50 lbs, and operate equipment for entire shift
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Positive attitude and reliable attendance record
