Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
- Verify inventory accuracy by checking stock against digital manifests and warehouse management systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Assist with palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and staging orders for carrier pickup.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with RF scanners or barcode readers is a plus.
