Responsibilities
- Operational Safety: Safely operate heavy machinery, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, stock, and organize inventory to maintain optimal warehouse organization and prevent stock discrepancies.
- Order Fulfillment: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to ensure timely delivery to our customers.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections of forklifts and reporting any maintenance needs to the supervisor immediately.
- Load Control: Secure loads properly for transport, ensuring weight distribution and load stability to prevent accidents during transit.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Sunday) on a full-time basis.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
