Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Verify inventory accuracy and update stock records in the warehouse management system accurately.
- Ensure the warehouse area is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform routine safety inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts before each shift.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations regarding material handling and lifting.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Assist in the staging of shipments for outbound delivery.
Qualifications
- Current forklift certification (Valid Class 1 or Class 3 license).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and labeling.
- Ability to work flexible weekend hours (Saturday & Sunday) as required.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
