Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Ensure the safe and timely transport of goods to designated storage locations or shipping docks.
- Perform regular inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management systems.
- Inspect forklift equipment for safety issues and report any mechanical problems to management immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to work flexible weekend hours, including Saturdays and Sundays.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer literacy.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
