Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse facility safely.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using barcode scanners and inventory management software.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards to comply with OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving targets during peak night hours.
- Assist in the packaging and palletizing of goods for distribution.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (CFL, RFSC, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols strictly.
- Must be available to work the night shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a consistent basis.
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate handheld scanners.
