Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and reach forklifts to load and unload freight efficiently and safely.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through daily cycle counting and paperwork.
- Ensure all warehouse safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies are followed.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues or damage before and during shifts.
- Clean and organize the warehouse floor to maintain a safe and productive environment.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline daily operations and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified Forklift Operator License (Forklift Endorsement) required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and accident prevention.
- Basic computer literacy for operating inventory tracking systems.
- Willingness to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and flexible shifts.
