Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse/distribution environment
- Load/unload trucks and move materials to designated storage areas
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient workflow
- Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, order pickers) as needed
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Minimum 1 year material handling experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Flexible schedule availability (weekends + potential weekday overtime)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
