Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the facility.
- Verify inventory accuracy by checking stock against manifests and ensuring proper tagging.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Handle hazardous materials (if applicable) following strict safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as part of a full-time schedule.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Excellent attention to detail for inventory tracking and quality control.
- Basic computer skills for logging data into warehouse management systems.
