Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts with precision and adherence to OSHA safety protocols
- Load/unload trucks and organize inventory in climate-controlled warehouse facilities
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize material flow
- Ensure proper stacking and storage of hazardous materials per safety guidelines
- Participate in quarterly safety training and certification updates
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse or logistics environment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday)
- Pre-employment drug screen and background check required
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
