Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse/distribution environments
- Load/unload trucks, containers, and pallets using proper material handling techniques
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain organized inventory storage and optimize warehouse space utilization
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company operational standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily/weekly production targets
- Complete accurate inventory documentation and cycle count support
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial forklifts (sit-down/stand-up)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Basic math skills for inventory management and measurement verification
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent required
