Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklift equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Accurately manage inventory by conducting stock counts and updating warehouse management systems.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and order fulfillment deadlines.
- Handle heavy packages with care, ensuring damage-free delivery to storage areas or shipping docks.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels and operating handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety.
