Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials within the facility.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform daily safety checks before operation.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately to ensure 100% order accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Assist in inventory control by counting stock and organizing stockrooms.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of shipping and receiving schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (for Class 1, 3, 4, or 5 forklifts).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and warehouse operations.
- Basic computer skills for logging work or scanning barcodes.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
