Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload freight from trailers, trucks, and shipping containers.
- Inspect forklifts for safety issues and perform minor maintenance as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate documentation of shipments.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily productivity targets.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a forklift is preferred but not required.
- Must possess a valid forklift certification or be willing to get certified on-site.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and paperwork.
