Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count, tag, and record inventory using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment by organizing stock and adhering to safety protocols.
- Safety Compliance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- License: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse logistics or material handling.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven surfaces.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
