Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility efficiently.
- Ensure all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines are followed at all times to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily before operation to ensure proper working order and report any maintenance issues.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records using handheld scanners.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse processes and meet daily productivity targets.
- Adhere to strict deadlines and ensure proper storage of goods to prevent damage.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) or be willing to obtain one upon hiring.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; we train the right candidates.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting and paperwork.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
