Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the facility.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, counting, and stocking inventory to ensure accurate record-keeping and organization.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Documentation: Verify shipping documents and prepare goods for delivery, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure efficient workflow.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred.
- Physical Ability: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
