Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) to move, locate, or stack merchandise.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance checks on forklift equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks, railroad cars, or storage areas.
- Verify inventory counts and maintain accurate logs of stock movements.
- Ensure the warehouse work area is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff regarding inventory needs.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
