Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and reach forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely throughout the facility.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and maintain organized storage zones.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to streamline the receiving and shipping processes.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, including sweeping and organizing pallets.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CDL Class B is a plus but not required).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a high-volume warehouse environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer literacy for scanning equipment.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-oriented.
