Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping functions.
- Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates to improve performance and morale.
- Manage inventory accuracy and stock levels using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Analyze operational metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements for maximum efficiency.
- Coordinate with logistics planners and transportation teams to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Conduct regular safety audits and staff scheduling to meet peak season demands.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or logistics management.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and material handling equipment.
- Proficiency with WMS software (e.g., Manhattan, SAP, or similar systems).
- Valid Forklift Certification and ability to operate heavy machinery.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field is preferred.
