Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely drive forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials, parts, and products throughout the warehouse.
- Load & Unload: Efficiently load and unload freight from trucks, ensuring cargo security and organization.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory control by scanning items, verifying counts, and maintaining accurate stock records.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition and report any issues immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily production targets and ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Certification: Valid forklift operator license (Class A or B) or willingness to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy when handling inventory.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and willingness to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
